Privacy Policy

Fliksy is a personal visual journal operated by Mathieu Lamvohee. You do not need a Fliksy account to use the app. This policy explains how your information is handled in the current release.

Fliksy does not sell personal data or use third-party advertising or cross-app tracking SDKs. Purchase analytics through RevenueCat are explained below.

Your journal includes photo and emoji stickers, descriptions, dates, canvas layouts, and any profile name or avatar you choose. Fliksy stores this content on your device, along with preferences and widget snapshots.

Fliksy uses Apple frameworks on your device to create photo cutouts and recognize image content. Your photos and journal are not uploaded to a Fliksy-operated server for this processing and are not sent to RevenueCat.

When iCloud sync is enabled and available, Fliksy uses Apple CloudKit to synchronize journal data through the private iCloud database associated with your Apple Account. Sync depends on your iCloud settings and network connection.

Apple handles this service under its privacy policy. You can change Fliksy’s sync preference in the app and manage iCloud storage through Apple settings.

Fliksy accesses the photos you select or allows you to take a photo to create a sticker. Camera and photo permissions are controlled by iOS.

If you use Apple Journaling Suggestions, Fliksy receives the items you choose to import. These may include photos, places, workouts, music, contacts, or mood details, depending on the suggestion. Imported details become part of your journal; Fliksy does not browse your entire Contacts or Health database. Place and route cards may request a map image from Apple MapKit using the selected location.

Optional reminders use local notifications. You can change camera, photo, suggestion, and notification permissions in iOS Settings; some related features may then be unavailable.

Apple processes payments for Fliksy Pro subscriptions and lifetime purchases. Fliksy does not receive or store your payment-card details.

Fliksy uses RevenueCat to validate purchases, unlock Pro, restore purchases, prevent purchase fraud, and understand purchase performance. RevenueCat processes purchase history, product and transaction or receipt information, subscription status, a generated app-specific customer identifier, and technical information such as app and operating-system versions and last app activity.

The app uses a generated RevenueCat identifier rather than your name or email address. We do not send RevenueCat your profile or journal content or connect that identifier to your journal identity. Purchase reporting is used for app functionality and analytics, not advertising or tracking you across other companies’ apps and websites.

When you save or share a sticker, image, or video, Fliksy provides the selected output to Photos, Files, or the app or recipient you choose through Apple’s sharing tools. Those copies are subject to the destination’s privacy practices and remain there until you remove them.

If you contact support, we receive your email address and the information you include. We use it to answer your request and resolve the issue, retaining correspondence only as needed for those purposes and applicable obligations.

This website is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes connection and request information, including IP addresses, to deliver and protect the site. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site advertising trackers on this website.

Our service providers may process information in countries other than your own under their applicable privacy and data-processing terms.

Your journal remains on your device and, when synced, in iCloud until you delete it. In Fliksy, open Settings → Privacy & Safety to use Export My Data or Erase My Data. You can also edit or delete individual journal items.

Erase My Data removes Fliksy’s data on this device. Synchronized deletions depend on iCloud sync being enabled and available; previously synced data may remain if sync is disabled. Uninstalling Fliksy alone does not remove iCloud data or device backups. Manage those copies through Apple settings, and remove exported copies separately.

Erasing your journal or uninstalling the app does not cancel an Apple subscription or automatically delete Apple or RevenueCat purchase records. Manage subscriptions in your Apple Account. Purchase records may be retained as needed for billing, restores, fraud prevention, and legal obligations.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete personal information, object to or restrict processing, or complain to your local data-protection authority.

For privacy questions or requests, including purchase-data requests, contact Mathieu Lamvohee at support@fliksy-app.com. We may need information to locate the relevant records and verify your request. We cannot directly access your private journal stored only on your device or in your private iCloud database.

Fliksy is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information so we can address it.

We will update this page and its revision date when our practices change, including when new features introduce different data handling.
